My Journey With Rahul and MBAdream,
My journey for the US-MBA began after getting rejected by IIMs even after scoring a 98 percentile. I started my preparation for GMAT in February 2013 and started looking for school and admission consultant for my application. After giving my first attempt at GMAT in May 2013 and getting a horrible score of 660 I was shattered. I spoke to a lot of consultants I will say all of those sitting in the market and got varied response. I had very less work experience 2 year and very low GMAT score. I was totally confused with what to do whether to wait one year or apply with this score this year, which schools to apply.I heard about MBA dream from a forum in GMAT club and also on Pagalguy. Every student highly recommended about him. I thought I have talked to so many other consultants why not have one more chat with Rahul. The day we first connected I really got very genuine advice from Rahul who was not trying to sell his business but wanted to help me with my career. I felt it was his passion to help people. He advised me to take GMAT again and without even signing up with him he kept me motivated and helped me with lot of material for GMAT preparation. I applied to six of the Top 30 schools in US got an Interview call from 5 of them and got an admit in two and wait-list in another. The biggest achievment I would say was Tippie College of Business, University of Iowa where I got in with full scholarship. I would say my MBA is almost for free. He doesnt considers himself as an admission consultant but he is more of career coach , mentor and a great motivating friend.
He never disconnected even after I got an admit. He advised me on what career path to choose in my MBA and how to go about job search.
