What are the 3 key factors that drove you to ISB MBA  ?
Studying at ISB is like attending an international MBA program while being in your home country. Most of the faculty at ISB is visiting, from university giants such as Kellogg, Wharton, and UCLA.
The condensed well-designed PGP course saves your opportunity loss of 1 year. That essentially means that you will learn the same amount you would have learned in a 2 year period and would also start earning earlier than the 2 year MBA students.
Having achieved an extremely tight alumni base of 11k, ISB makes sure that its old and new students help each other in the best possible way.
What has been the feedback of current students and alumni in general?Current students are happy about the fact that they are job-ready in just 8 months of joining. Further, with two of the best MBA campuses in the country to engage in, students enjoy the enriched peer-to-peer experience they earn through 1 year. Alumni value the career shift that ISB has provided them and act as buddies to incoming and newly passed out students through relevant industries and markets. As the school is pretty young, the alumni community It has been observed that the best time to be part of ISB cohort is after 3-5 years of experience. That is the sweet spot, preferred most by the recruiters. What advice will you give to students preparing for GMAT?Honestly, it is an easier exam compared to what Indians are trained for. The only trick in GMAT is its adaptability during the test duration. Training well for that by attempting a lot of full session mocks will help you easily crack it. The official GMAT tests are worth every penny for improving your chances. GMATclub is the best resource to have along your preparation journey. What advice do you have for students for ISB interviews? ISB interviews are not very formal. You will mostly have ISB alumni interviewing you. Be confident, do not fake it, have 5-6 REAL stories spanning your professional and personal life. If you have made it to the interview, it means they love your profile and only want to see if the application and face behind it match. Therefore, make sure you know your application by heart. What aspects of your job at Accenture you really like?Accenture is one of the very few consulting companies that value employee’s work-life balance. Being a market leader, Accenture’s knowledge database is spectacular. Accenture is a tech giant and market leader, so there is no functional area, industry, or technology that Accenture lacks exposure to. The well-roundedness of the company along with kind regard to its huge employee base makes it an extraordinary organization to work for. What advice do you have for students wanting to work in strategy consulting?Consulting has various domains and industries. But one thing common in all consultants is the ability to juggle multiple teams at once and come up with a viable solution in high-pressure situations. Second and quite obvious, a consultant has amazing communication skills because no solution is worth a penny if you cannot explain it to your client. To be a strategy consultant, you need to develop the skill of thinking on your feet. You should also feel very comfortable with numbers as most of the solutions require data backing. To acquire these skills, practice case studies with multiple people including your mentors, teachers, and peers. Then, brush your data analysis skills with various tools available online. Practice behavioral questions to learn how to share your life experiences in a short and impactful way. Based on the kind of consulting job you apply for, relevant domain knowledge would be good to have.
